Legal Notice

Isanda Protection operates within the framework of the applicable legislation governing private security in South Africa. 


We are guided by, but not limited to, the following legislation:

Private Security Industry Regulation Act (PSiRA Act), 2001 (Act No. 56 of 2001) This act establishes the regulatory authority (PSiRA) responsible for controlling, registering, and regulating the industry to ensure accountability.

Code of Conduct: A set of legally binding rules that govern security service providers.

Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000: This act regulates the possession and use of firearms by security companies and their officers.

Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977: This legislation defines the powers of arrest and the use of force permitted for private citizens, including security officers.

Labour Relations and Compliance: All our security personnel are registered with the Private Security Sector Provident Fund (PSSPF) and adhere to minimum wage regulations.
